Compassionate Ground Appointees i.n erstwhile -ls pay scale who have completed 5 years but who have not acquired the minimum SSC/ITI qualification are given an extended period of 2 more years for acquiring the minimum educational qualification for the post. Copy of Board’s instructions in
this regard to Zonal Railways/Production Units is enclosed.
2. In continuation of earlier correspondence referred to above, it is again requested that such trainees may be impressed upon to acquire the requisite qualification either through open school or other opportunities in this respect including National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) examination
conducted by Regional Directorate of Apprenticeship Training (RDATs).
