Sub: Grant of MACP to SOMs/Sr.PWSs of Civil Engg. Deptt.
Your kind attention is invited towards our earlier letter of even number dated 8th March, 2019(copy enclosed for ready reference), wherein it was requested to issue necessary instructions to all Zonal Railways that the instructions contained under para 5 of Board’s orders, issued under RBE No.101/ 2009 dated 10.06.2009, for grant of MACP benefits be implemented in case of SOMs and PWMs/Sr. PWSs. It is quite unfortunate that, more than two months period has been passed, but nothing favourable has been responded from the Board.
It is, therefore, again requested to communicate necessary instructions to all the Zonal Railways, so as to avoid the hardship being faced by these categories of staff.
An early action in the matter shall be highly appreciated.
